Before..
And after…
Isn’t she pretty? My dear hubs found a shop that sells new and reconditioned bikes, had a word with the very lovely guy who works there and explained my hand problems. So he did this! Reverse pedal breaking, special handle grips and easy gear change. I absolutely love her. Her name is Maybell. She’s my new friend and I hope we get out a lot together this Summer. When I thanked the man in the shop he hugged me, that’s how happy it made him to help me. What a great experience all round!
Oh, you lucky woman. I’m just about to get my bike out (I think I mentioned that in my blog). Hope you and Maybell have fun galavanting all over the countryside this summer.
Do I take it from this that your beloved is not spending so much time in the Mediterranean?
Blessings and Bear hugs!

Oh it’s been such a joy this weeks to get back out on a bike… Bless Mr Reasons its really added something back to my life 🙂
That is a lovely post and so great to see you on Maybell. It is really good to read about other people being so helpful. Hope you have many happy, effortless hours of cycling this summer.

Now if it had been a tricycle … I learned to ride a bike late on in life – in Skegness since you asked – and never really got to grips with it. When i discovered it made my hips ache it seemed a good reason t give it up. But I do like your basket!
